Voice of Change Kilimanjaro (VoC-KLM), we believe that true transformation begins when communities gain the skills, confidence, and resources to stand on their own feet. Our Economic Empowerment Activities are designed to help women, youth, and vulnerable groups unlock their potential, build resilience, and take charge of their financial futures.

Through mentorship, training, and hands-on initiatives, we equip individuals and families with practical tools to break cycles of poverty and create sustainable livelihoods.

Why Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching Matters

In Tanzania, poor nutrition and lifestyle-related health conditions continue to hold communities back. Families often lack access to accurate health information or practical tools to make balanced decisions. This program bridges that gap by:

  • Raising awareness about balanced diets, affordable local foods, and food security.
  • Building confidence to create small, sustainable lifestyle shifts that improve overall wellbeing.
  • Equipping households with strategies for healthier cooking, better hygiene, and active living.
  • Reducing risks of non-communicable diseases through preventive education and support.

What We Do!

Personalized Coaching Sessions

Our trained facilitators provide one-on-one and group coaching where participants learn how to align nutrition and lifestyle habits with their personal goals, cultural practices, and family realities.

We organize interactive community workshops that cover topics such as:

  • Balanced diets with local foods

  • Cooking demonstrations using affordable ingredients

  • Water, sanitation, and hygiene practices

  • Stress management and self-care strategies

Young people are the future change-makers. Through schools and youth groups, we run nutrition awareness campaigns, gardening clubs, and lifestyle mentorship programs to instill healthy habits early.

Women are often the center of family nutrition. We support women-led initiatives like:

  • Family meal planning

  • Kitchen gardens for fresh produce

  • Savings groups that include healthy lifestyle goals
